Frequently asked questions.

1. What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a professional, non-invasive evaluation of a property’s major systems and components. At Inspect360, we focus on function and safety—not cosmetic issues or local codes. Our goal is to give you a clear picture of the home’s condition so you can make confident decisions.

2. Why should I get a home inspection?
Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make. An inspection helps identify hidden defects, safety issues, or costly repairs before you commit. It gives buyers peace of mind and sellers the opportunity to address problems early.

3. How long does an inspection take?
Most inspections take about 2–3 hours, depending on the size, age, and condition of the home. Larger or more complex properties may take longer.

4. Do I need to be present during the inspection?
You don’t have to be there, but we recommend it. Walking through the home with us gives you the chance to ask questions in real time and see issues firsthand.

If you can’t be present for the inspection - we do appreciate getting to meet you afterwards and go over the report in person or on the phone.

5. When do I receive the inspection report?
We deliver a digital report—complete with photos and easy-to-understand notes—within 24 hours of your inspection.

Note - we don’t send the inspection reports to anyone except you (unless you gave us permission). The report is 100% only yours and we’re committed to keeping it that way.

6. What does an inspection cover?
We look at the home’s structure, roof, exterior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, attic, crawlspace/basement, and more. Each inspection follows InterNACHI’s Standards of Practice to make sure nothing important is missed.

7. What does an inspection not cover?
We don’t evaluate cosmetic issues, hidden defects inside walls, or local code compliance. Generally we don’t inspect anything not attached to the home - such as playgrounds and trampolines, etc. We will inspect the garage if it’s not attached but usually not multiple for the base rate.

Specialized services like radon, mold, pool, or pest inspections may be available separately.

Note on pools - even if you don’t pay for a pool inspection - we generally will evaluate the pool fence and electrical associated with it, as well as safety issues found encompassing the pool.

8. How much does a home inspection cost?
Our standard inspection starts at $360 for homes under 2,000 sq. ft. Larger homes and add-on services may cost more. We’ll provide an exact quote before you schedule.

9. When do I pay for the inspection?
Payment is due at the time of the inspection but prefer it upon booking. We accept common payment methods (credit, debit, or check).

10. Why choose Inspect360?
Inspect360 provides a “full-circle” inspection experience—thorough, unbiased, and easy to understand. We don’t just hand you a report; we explain what it means and how it impacts your home.
